ANTI-AGING, YOUTHFUL AGING, HEALTHY AGING--The path to Happy Aging ©

Although I prefer words that sound most positive, GOOGLE lists the following:

Anti-Aging              24.1 million listings

Youthful Aging       14.7 million listings

Healthy Aging         12.7 million listings

Positive Aging         11.1 million listings

Happy Aging             1.16 million listings

Graceful Aging          0 .2 million listings

Obviously Anti-aging is by far the buzzword of today.  Why is the "battle" against aging so popular?  Most people seem to fear aging even more than death.  And, of course, a majority of people seem to have Freud's DEATH WISH.  Therefore I could ask why people are so unhappy.

 But the purpose of this newsletter is to assist you in living a positive, happy, active, productive life as long as possible.  Although many people have various degrees of lack of health, the actual dying process is usually a maximum of one or two years.  Therefore, live, as in one of my favorite poems, THANATOPSIS:

 " So live, that when thy summons comes to join

The innumerable caravan, which moves        

 To that mysterious realm, where each shall take

His chamber in the silent halls of death,

Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,

Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed

 By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave       

 Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch

About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams."

Think happy

Be active

Eat real food

Have common sense healthy habits
